Interview with foley artist Carsten Richter and Hanse Warns 2010-05-17
The may edition of the German magazine Kameramann features a special about story-telling with sound incl. a portrait on my long-time collaborators Carsten Richter (foley artist) and Hanse Warns (foley mixer).
Probably one of the best foley crews around. We collaborated on lots of films incl. The International and Perfume by Tom Tykwer that won a German academy award for best sound design. Other films they have worked on: The Last King of Scotland , Waltz with Bashir and many other award winning films.
In june we will begin the work on Tykwer´s latest Film Drei.
